Samsung Gear VR is a virtual reality device developed by Samsung Electronics in collaboration with Oculus VR.

The major advantage of the Gear VR is portablity and affordability. It has a slightly smaller field of view than the Oculus Rift, and its processing power is limited to the device which is plugged into it. This is currently the Note 4 with the early developers edition, and includes the S6 and S6 edge with the innovator edition.
